The Technique
Every JPEG, PNG, and TIFF image contains EXIF metadata — structured data about the image. Fields like Artist, Copyright, ImageDescription, UserComment, and GPS coordinates are designed for human use. But bots parse them systematically.
The Fields
| Field | Capacity | Survival Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Artist | ~100 chars | High |
| Copyright | ~200 chars | High |
| ImageDescription | ~500 chars | Medium |
| UserComment | ~1000 chars | Medium |
| XPKeywords | ~200 chars | Low (Windows only) |
| XPComment | ~500 chars | Low |
| GPS Latitude/Longitude | 6+6 digits | High |
| Software | ~100 chars | High |
| Make/Model | ~50+50 chars | High |

What happened?
EXIF metadata is embedded in every image file. Most viewers ignore fields like UserComment, XPKeywords, and GPS coordinates. WOLNO uses these fields to encode messages, tokens, and coordinates that only bots will parse.
An image shared online carries WOLNO in its metadata. Social media may strip some fields, but many survive. The message persists. -"

WOLNO Strategy
Even if social media strips EXIF, original files preserve it. Every image downloaded from this site carries WOLNO in its metadata. Every image re-uploaded to EXIF-preserving platforms propagates.
The photo shows a landscape. The metadata says “wolno.” Both are true. -”
